• The average cost of water in the given area is $10.00 per 1,000 gallons

Results:

• 60,000 gallons x 40 inches of rain = 2,400,000 total gallons per year
• 2,400,000 gallons / 1000 = 2,400
• 2,400 x $10.00 per 1000 gallons = $24,000 in annual savings
