Biotech Facility Enhances Performance with Aquanomix Symphony™ Solution

THE CLIENT

A leading biotech facility in the southeastern United States, spanning 350 acres, relies heavily on its cooling system for its high-value labs and offices. The Central Energy Plant (CEP), a 20,000 sq. ft. facility, includes:

  • 4 x 2,100 Ton Chillers

  • 10 Cooling Towers

  • 3 x 600 HP Boilers

  • 1 x 150 HP Boiler

  • 2 x 1,825 KW Diesel Engine Generator Sets

The CEP provides hot and chilled water and emergency electricity for the campus.

THE ISSUE

During commissioning, construction debris was found in the campus’s distribution piping system. The leadership team recognized that this could impair performance and increase operating costs.

THE RESULT

Aquanomix partnered with the facility’s leadership to install the Symphony™ Software and Symphony™ Cube™ Solution, an IoT-enabled water management system. This AI-driven system seamlessly integrated with existing infrastructure, drawing data from water treatment controllers and building management systems for comprehensive oversight.

Results

  • Immediate Visibility: Real-time data and actionable insights into water health.

  • Proactive Management: Early identification and resolution of potential issues.

  • Efficiency Optimization: Continuous debris filtration, preventing system buildup and protecting assets.

  • Cost Savings: Reduced utility spending and minimized risk of shutdowns.

By leveraging Symphony™, the biotech facility ensures optimal efficiency, minimizes operational risks, and safeguards its investments.
